2009 to help promote the adoption of rescue dogs throughout
Australia on Channel 10's Before the Game.

Beagle rescue was featured on 9am with David
and Kim on 16-07-2008
Beagle Rescue Victoria was nominated for the Rescuer of the Year
Award 2007. The awards ceremony was held in mid-2008, with Beagle
Rescue Victoria winning the category of "Rescuer of the Year".
Beagle Rescue Victoria is honoured to have been nominated and
listed with such an amazing selection of rescue groups Australia
wide.
In 2007, Beagle Rescue Victoria was contacted by a lady who wanted
to surrender her female beagle due to behavioural issues. After
Beagle Rescue Victoria temperment tested Pippa, it was obvious
straight away that, due to her many behavioural issues, Pippa would
be unsuitable to be rehomed as a family pet.
A week earlier, Elders
Pest Control had contacted Beagle Rescue Victoria, offering their
services for any unruly beagles who were not rehomable. Pippa met
their criteria, on all levels. Pippa was then sent to John Elder
and his family to begin her training to become a super detector
beagle.
